Whoever procures another to commit perjury is guilty of perjury by subornation. Perjury by subornation is a felony, punishable as provided in Section 505 of this title. Whoever does any act with the specific intent to commit perjury by subornation but fails to complete that offense is guilty of attempted perjury by subornation. Added by Laws 1965, c. 126, § 5, emerg. eff. May 24, 1965. Amended by Laws 1997, c. 133, § 205, eff. July 1, 1999; Laws 1999, 1st Ex.Sess., c. 5, § 115, eff.
