§ 47-12-407

A. No person shall operate any truck, bus, truck-tractor, or any drive-away, tow-away operation upon any highway at any time unless such vehicle is equipped with emergency equipment, including, but not limited to, reflectors, flares, fusees, flags, and fire extinguishers, as provided by 49 C.F.R., Section 393.95. This section shall not apply to lightweight vehicles. B. Every bus which is licensed for the express purpose of transporting persons for hire shall have at least one hand axe and one metal heavy-duty, ten-unit size, first-aid kit.Added by Laws 1961, p. 409, § 12-407.
