Whenever the Department of Public Safety has taken any action or has failed to take any action under this article by reason of having received erroneous information or no information, then, upon receiving further information within one (1) year after the date of an accident, the Department shall take appropriate action to carry out the purposes and effect of this article. Provided, this section shall not be deemed to require the Department to reevaluate the amount of any deposit required under this article. Added by Laws 1961, p. 357, § 7-215.
