§ 58.597

When a decree is made by the district court for the payment of a decedent's creditors, the personal representative is personally liable to each creditor for his allowed claim, or the dividend thereon, and execution may be issued on such decrees as upon any civil judgment in the district court, in favor of each creditor, and the same proceeding may be had under such execution as if it had been issued as any civil judgment. The personal representative is liable therefor on his bond to each creditor. Amended by Laws 1988, c. 228, § 15, emerg. eff. June 22, 1988.
