A subcontractor or an independent contractor hired by a general contractor to engage in the business of roofing shall provide proof of liability insurance as provided for in subsection A of Section 1151.5 of Title 59 of the Oklahoma Statutes. It shall be the responsibility of the general contractor to ensure the subcontractor or independent contractor has complied with this section. Added by Laws 2011, c. 225, § 8.
