A. Upon the declaration by governmental officials of a health pandemic or a state or federal disaster or emergency, dentists and dental hygienists and dental assistants working under the supervision of a dentist or physician, acting in good faith, shall be considered to be acting within the scope of their profession when providing all needed care during such a declared local, state or national emergency, and shall be allowed to perform services requested of them. B. Dentists are authorized to administer vaccinations. All dentists shall comply with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or State Department of Health documentation if required.C. Dental hygienists are authorized to administer vaccinations while working under the general supervision of a physician as defined by subsection C of Section 725.2 of Title 59 of the Oklahoma Statutes.Added by Laws 2021, c. 566, § 15, emerg. eff.
