A. The Director is authorized to promulgate rules and regulations relating to the registration and control of the manufacture, distribution, dispensing, prescribing, administering or use for scientific purposes of controlled dangerous substances within this state. All proceedings before the Director shall be governed by the Administrative Procedures Act. B. The Director shall promulgate rules relating to the training, certification and registration of animal control officers for the purpose of authorizing such individuals to purchase, possess and administer controlled dangerous substances for animal control within this state and operating under the parameters of Sections 501 through 508 of Title 4 of the Oklahoma Statutes. In promulgating such rules, the Director shall cooperate with any federal, state or local entity with jurisdiction over the euthanasia of animals.Added by Laws 1971, c. 119, § 2-301, operative Sept. 1, 1971.
