The board of county commissioners in each county may cause to be prepared, and may adopt by resolution, standard plans and specifications for the establishment and construction of new roads or bridges to be dedicated to the use and benefit of the public. Such roads or bridges must meet such specifications before being accepted and becoming public roads. Laws 1975, c. 239, § 1, emerg. eff. May 30, 1975.
