A. It is the intent of the Legislature that the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, the Director of the State Department of Vocational and Technical Education, and the Chancellor for Higher Education shall coordinate spring break dates for the public schools, area vocational-technical schools, and institutions within The Oklahoma State System of Higher Education beginning with the 2001-2002 school year. B. Independent, elementary, and area vocational-technical school districts and institutions within The Oklahoma State System of Higher Education shall schedule spring break dates as determined pursuant to subsection A of this section.Added by Laws 2000, c. 232, § 22, eff.
