A. Except where otherwise specified by law, the term 'congressional district', when used with respect to the appointment of a member of a state board, commission, authority, or other statutory entity, shall mean the district as most recently configured by law. B. For entities which subsection A of this section renders out of compliance with specific statutory requirements, subsequent appointments shall be so made as to cause compliance to be effected at the earliest possible date.Added by Laws 1992, c. 364, § 1, emerg. eff.
