(1) When the Oregon State Bar or an attorney determines that one of the circumstances listed in ORS 9.710 exists, the bar or the attorney may petition the court ex parte to take immediate jurisdiction over the affected member’s law practice as provided in ORS 9.705 to 9.757.\n(2) When an attorney files a petition under subsection (1) of this section, the attorney shall provide notice to the Oregon State Bar.
