No provision of a retail installment contract or retail charge agreement shall be valid:\n(1) By which the buyer agrees not to assert against the seller or against an assignee a claim or defense arising out of the sale.\n(2) That provides for a wage assignment. [1963 c.489 §15; 1971 c.232 §1]
