(1) The lien described in ORS 87.855 may be enforced by a suit in the circuit court, and shall be governed by the laws regulating the proceedings for the foreclosure of liens generally.\n(2) Any number of persons claiming liens under ORS 87.855 may join in the same suit, and when separate suits are commenced, the court may consolidate them. The court may also allow as part of the costs the moneys paid for filing and recording the claim, and a reasonable attorney fee at trial and on appeal, for each person claiming a lien.\n(3) Every lien described in ORS 87.855 shall cease to exist unless a complaint to foreclose it is filed and a summons issued within six months from the date of filing of the claim of lien.
