(1) In addition to other actions authorized under ORS 97.948 (2), the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services may:\n(a) Issue an emergency order suspending or restricting a certificate or registration or ordering a certified provider or master trustee or an entity acting as a certified provider or master trustee to cease and desist from specified conduct; or\n(b) Take other action deemed necessary by the director in the circumstances.\n(2) The director shall promptly provide opportunity for hearing pursuant to ORS chapter 183.\n(3) Emergency orders are:\n(a) Effective when issued;\n(b) Reviewable as provided in ORS 183.480; and\n(c) Enforceable in the courts of this state.
