As used in ORS 114.441 to 114.462:\n(1) 'Beneficiary' means a person for whose benefit an action against a wrongdoer may be brought under ORS 30.020.\n(2) 'Interested person' has the meaning given that term in ORS 111.005.\n(3) 'Personal injury claim' means a cause of action arising out of injuries to a decedent, caused by the wrongful act or omission of another, that do not result in the death of the decedent.\n(4) 'Wrongful death claim' means a cause of action arising out of injuries to a decedent, caused by the wrongful act or omission of another, that result in the death of the decedent.
