(1) A person commits the crime of possession of a false law enforcement identification card if the person possesses a false law enforcement identification card.\n(2) Possession of a false law enforcement identification card is a Class A misdemeanor.\n(3) As used in this section, 'false law enforcement identification card' means an identification card that:\n(a) Identifies the possessor of the card as a member of a law enforcement unit; and\n(b) Was not lawfully issued to the possessor by the law enforcement unit.
