(1) The Legislative Policy and Research Committee is established as a joint committee of the Legislative Assembly.\n(2) The committee shall select a Legislative Policy and Research Director to serve as its executive officer. The director shall serve at the pleasure of the committee.\n(3) The committee shall fix the annual salary of the director. Subject to the limitations otherwise provided by law for expenses of state officers, the director shall be reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses incurred or paid by the director in the performance of duties of the director.
