(1) As used in this section, 'law enforcement agency' means:\n(a) A city or municipal police department.\n(b) A county sheriff’s office.\n(c) The Oregon State Police.\n(d) A police department established by a university under ORS 352.121 or 353.125.\n(2) A law enforcement agency shall establish a mental health wellness policy for addressing issues related to the mental health wellness of law enforcement officers employed by the agency.
