As used in ORS 221.275 to 221.290:\n(1) 'Owner' or 'owner of a vehicle' means the person listed as the owner of a vehicle in the records of the Department of Transportation.\n(2) 'Rental or leasing company' means any person engaged in the business of renting or leasing motor vehicles to the public.
