As used in ORS 238.500 to 238.585, unless the context requires otherwise:\n(1) 'Court' means the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, the Oregon Tax Court and a circuit court.\n(2) 'Judge' means a judge of any court.\n(3) 'Judge member' means a judge who is a member of the Public Employees Retirement System subject to ORS 238.500 to 238.585.\n(4) 'Service as a judge' means creditable service, as defined by ORS 238.005, by a judge as:\n(a) A regularly elected or appointed judge of a court; or\n(b) A regularly elected or appointed judge of a court temporarily in another court.
