(1) The members of the Employment Relations Board shall be appointed by the Governor for a term of four years.\n(2) Each member shall be appointed for a term ending four years from the date of the expiration of the term for which the predecessor of the member was appointed, except that a person appointed to fill a vacancy occurring prior to the expiration of such term shall be appointed for the remainder of the term. Appointments to the board by the Governor are subject to confirmation by the Senate in the manner provided in ORS 171.562 and 171.565.
