(1) The members of the Employment Relations Board shall be appointed by the Governor for a term of four years.\n(2) Each member shall be appointed for a term ending four years from the date of the expiration of the term for which the predecessor of the member was appointed, except that a person appointed to fill a vacancy occurring prior to the expiration of such term shall be appointed for the remainder of the term.
