The civil service board shall classify, with relation to the character of work and the compensation attached thereto, all positions in the service of the school board within the district including those under the supervision of a custodian except those described in ORS 242.320 (1)(a), (b) or (c). The positions so classified shall constitute the classified civil service of the school district. [Amended by 1979 c.738 §2]
