(1) Each public official or candidate required to file a statement of economic interest under this chapter shall include on the statement the name of any compensated lobbyist who, during the preceding calendar year, was associated with a business with which the public official or candidate or a member of the household of the public official or candidate was also associated.\n(2) Subsection (1) of this section does not apply if the only relationship between the public official or candidate and the lobbyist is that the public official or candidate and lobbyist hold stock in the same publicly traded corporation.\n(3) As used in this section, 'lobbyist' has the meaning given that term in ORS 171.725.
