(1) Notwithstanding ORS 260.005 (18) and except as provided in ORS 260.043, a candidate shall designate a political committee as the candidate’s principal campaign committee. A candidate may designate only one political committee as the candidate’s principal campaign committee.\n(2) A political committee may not be designated as the principal campaign committee of more than one candidate.
