Notwithstanding the amendments to ORS 280.040, 280.060, 280.070 and 280.080 by sections 302 to 305, chapter 541, Oregon Laws 1997, a serial levy described in section 11 (7)(b), Article XI of the Oregon Constitution, may be levied by the subdivision, including a school district, as provided in ORS 280.040 to 280.140 (1995 Edition).
