(1) Each position of school director shall be designated by number as Position No. 1, Position No. 2 and so on.\n(2) At the first organizational meeting of the board following formation of the district, the chairperson of the board shall assign a position number to each office on the board. The chairperson shall certify the number assigned to the director holding that position and shall file one copy of the certification in the records of the district.\n(3) This section applies to the following districts that are not zoned:\n(a) Common school districts;\n(b) Union high school districts; and\n(c) Education service districts.
