For purposes of this chapter:\n(1) 'Component school district' means a common school district or a union high school district that:\n(a) Is located within the territory of an education service district; and\n(b) Is not withdrawn from the education service district as provided in ORS 334.015.\n(2) 'Education service district' means a district created under ORS 334.010 that provides regional educational services to component school districts.\n(3) 'Joint school district' means a common school district or a union high school district located within the territory of more than one education service district.
