Except as provided in ORS 255.400 to 255.424:\n(1) ORS chapter 255 governs the following:\n(a) The nomination and election of board members.\n(b) The conduct of district elections.\n(2) The electors of a community college district may exercise the powers of the initiative and referendum regarding a district measure, in accordance with ORS 255.135 to 255.205.\n(3) ORS 249.865 to 249.877 govern the recall of board members.
