(1) A district may, without elector approval but with permission from the broadcasting television station, generate revenue in the district’s transmissions through the acknowledgment or solicitation of financial support considered necessary for the continued operation of the translator.\n(2) A district may, without elector approval but with the permission of the producer of video-on-demand content, generate revenue in the district’s transmissions and alternative distribution methods through the acknowledgement or solicitation of financial support considered necessary for the continued operation of the translator.
