(1) Any property acquired under ORS 376.505 to 376.540 shall be used exclusively for the purposes set forth therein or such incidental purposes as may be necessary to the continued carrying out of such purposes.\n(2) Whenever the use of property as contemplated in ORS 376.505 to 376.540 ceases for a period of two years, it shall revert to the original owner, or the heirs or assigns of the original owner, but in assessing damages the amount allowed shall not be in any manner lessened or decreased by reason of the possibility that the lands may so revert to their original owner.\n(3) The limitations set out in this section shall not apply to or run against any interest acquired by the state.
