The Legislative Assembly declares that:\n(1) It is the public policy of this state that all Oregonians’ right to freedom from unreasonable government intrusion into their private lives, and specifically the right of consenting individuals to obtain and use methods of contraception without interference by governmental entities, shall be safeguarded; and\n(2) The laws of this state must be interpreted and construed to recognize and protect these rights.
