(1) The district may contract with any city or water or other district serving water in the district to collect service or user charges with the water bills, and the serving agency may cut off water for nonpayment of such service or user charges. The district may pay the water-serving agency a reasonable charge for such collection services.\n(2) Assessments of less than $25 and service or user charges may also be collected and enforced as provided in ORS 454.225.
