(1) The Environmental Quality Commission may take whatever action is appropriate for the enforcement of its rules or orders.\n(2) The commission may institute proceedings to enforce compliance with or restrain violations of ORS chapters 459 and 459A, or any rule, standard, permit or order adopted, entered or issued pursuant to ORS chapters 459 and 459A.
