The Department of Environmental Quality shall implement a statewide household hazardous waste public education program. The program shall include but need not be limited to providing information about:\n(1) Alternatives to disposal of household hazardous waste at solid waste disposal sites;\n(2) Methods of reusing or recycling household hazardous waste; and\n(3) Alternatives to the use of products that lead to the generation of household hazardous waste.
