(1) Any person who attempts to, or does persuade, procure or cause another person to wager on an animal participating in a race, and upon which money is wagered, and who asks or demands, or accepts compensation as a reward for information or purported information given in such case is a tout, and is guilty of touting.\n(2) Predictions on the outcome of horse races and greyhound races may be sold on the licensee’s premises in accordance with rules promulgated by the Oregon Racing Commission.
