(1) Each Pacific Northwest Electric Power and Conservation Planning Council member shall receive a salary not to exceed the salary of a member of the Public Utility Commission, or the maximum salary authorized under section 4(a)(3) of Public Law 96-501.\n(2) Each council member is entitled to appoint one secretarial staff assistant who shall be in the unclassified service.
