(1) In addition to any penalties under subsection (2) of this section, a person who discloses confidential information in violation of ORS 469.090, willfully or with criminal negligence, as defined by ORS 161.085, may be subject to removal from office or immediate dismissal from public employment.\n(2)(a) Willful disclosure of confidential information in violation of ORS 469.090 is a Class A misdemeanor. Notwithstanding ORS 161.635, the maximum fine for a violation is $10,000.\n(b) Disclosure of confidential information in violation of ORS 469.090 with criminal negligence, as defined by ORS 161.085, is a Class A violation.\n(3) Any person who violates ORS 469.825 commits a Class A misdemeanor.
