(1) Candidates for election from subdistricts created by ORS 478.225 shall be nominated by electors of the subdistricts. Candidates for election at large may be nominated by electors of subdistricts or by electors of the district, or any combination of such methods.\n(2) Subject to ORS 478.225, the directors may be elected in one of the following methods or a combination of both:\n(a) Elected by electors of subdistricts.\n(b) Elected at large by position number by the electors of the district.
