(1) Industrial hemp is an agricultural product that is subject to regulation by the State Department of Agriculture.\n(2)(a) For purposes of ORS chapter 616, the department may not consider industrial hemp or industrial hemp commodities or products to be an adulterant.\n(b) Paragraph (a) of this subsection does not prohibit the department from considering artificially derived cannabinoids to be adulterants.
