No person shall:\n(1) Hold under herd, confine in any pasture, building, corral or other enclosure, or picket out, hobble or tie together, or in any manner interfere with the freedom of calves or neat cattle or colts of horses, on the open range, which are less than seven months old, unless such animals are accompanied by their mothers.\n(2) Sell or offer to sell any freshly branded neat cattle or horses.
