(a) Duty of owner.--Within 30 days after written notice has been provided pursuant to section 127A04(b)(1) or (2) (relating to prior notice of abatement), the owner shall remove and abate the nuisance. (b) Extension.--The department, upon written application by the owner within the 30-day period referred to in subsection (a), may grant additional time for the owner to effect the abatement of the public nuisance if the extension is limited to a specific time period.
