Section 2106 - Approval

The following shall apply: (1) Upon being satisfied that all requirements have been met, the department may approve the application and award a grant. (2) Prior to providing grant funds to the applicant, the department shall enter into a contract with the applicant. The contract shall include provisions requiring the applicant to use the grant to pay the costs of the project. (3) The department may impose any other terms and conditions on the grants authorized by this chapter as the department determines is in the best interests of the Commonwealth, including a provision requiring collateral to secure repayment of any penalty imposed under the program.
