Section 6209 - Applicability

(a) Consumer discount companies.--The provisions of this chapter do not affect or impair a business conducted lawfully under a license issued under the act of April 8, 1937 (P.L.262, No.66), known as the Consumer Discount Company Act. (b) Other extensions of credit.--The provisions of this chapter do not apply to an extension of credit for the purchase of a motor vehicle, including the financing of other costs or charges necessary or incidental to the sale or financing of a motor vehicle, made under the act of November 30, 1965 (P.L.847, No.356), known as the Banking Code of 1965.
