Section 7103 - Use of term "cooperative" in corporate name

(a) General rule.--Except as otherwise provided by statute: (1) The corporate name of a cooperative corporation shall contain the term 'cooperative' or an abbreviation thereof. (2) The name of an association shall not contain the term 'cooperative' or an abbreviation thereof unless the association is a cooperative corporation.
