Section 12521 - Duties and powers of chief clerk

(a) Duties.--The chief clerk shall keep the books and accounts of the county commissioners, record and file the proceedings and papers of the county commissioners, attest all orders and voucher checks issued by the county commissioners and perform all other duties pertaining to the office of chief clerk. (b) Oaths and affirmations.--The chief clerk shall have the power to administer oaths and affirmations pertaining to the business of the office of the county commissioners.
