The following words and phrases when used in this chapter shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: 'Bridge.' The term includes bridges, viaducts and culverts and all items pertaining to bridges, viaducts and culverts. 'Road.' The term includes roads, streets, highways, lanes, alleys and all other public thoroughfares. 'Streams.' The term includes streams, rivers, creeks, ponds, lakes and all other natural waters.
