Section 16736 - Contracts with railroad companies

(a) Contract with railroad.--A railroad company whose tracks or other facilities are located upon a county bridge may contract and agree with the county commissioners for the use, purchase, removal, replacing or exchange of the bridge, or for the compensation to be paid to the county by the company for the use and occupancy of the bridge or parts of the bridge. (b) Debts.--All money due and all obligations incurred by the companies under a contract may be collected and enforced in the same manner as debts of like amount are recovered and similar obligations enforced in this Commonwealth.
