(a) General rule.--No person who has been convicted of a misdemeanor or a felony involving dishonesty, breach of trust or violation of this title or corresponding provisions of prior law may serve as an officer, director, committee member, employee, volunteer or agent of a credit union unless the person has or obtains the unanimous approval of the board of directors of the credit union. (b) Disclosure statement.--Every officer, director, committee member and employee shall sign a sworn statement disclosing whether he has ever been convicted of a misdemeanor or a felony involving dishonesty, breach of trust or violation of this title or corresponding provisions of prior law.
