The following words and phrases when used in this chapter shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: 'Abortion.' As defined in section 3203 (relating to definitions). 'Intentional killing.' Killing by means of poison, or by lying in wait, or by any other kind of willful, deliberate and premeditated killing. 'Murder.' As used in this chapter, the term includes the same element of malice which is required to prove murder under Chapter 25 (relating to criminal homicide). 'Perpetration of a felony.' As defined in section 2502(d) (relating to murder). 'Principal.' As defined in section 2502(d) (relating to murder). 'Serious bodily injury.' Bodily injury which creates a substantial risk of death or which causes serious, permanent disfigurement or protracted loss or impairment of the function of any bodily member or organ. 'Serious provocation.' As defined in section 2301 (relating to definitions). 'Unborn child.' As defined in section 3203 (relating to definitions).
