Section 7516 - Greyhound racing and simulcasting

(a) Racing.--A person who holds, conducts or operates a greyhound race for public exhibition in this Commonwealth for monetary remuneration commits a misdemeanor of the first degree. (b) Simulcasting.-- (1) A person shall not transmit or receive interstate or intrastate simulcasting of a greyhound race in this Commonwealth for monetary remuneration. (2) A court of common pleas may impose a civil penalty of up to $10,000 upon any person who violates this subsection.
